Wagner was a guitarist and songwriter who worked with Billy Joel, Prakash John, Steve Hunter, Nils Lofgren, Kiss, Hall & Oates, Burton Cummings and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
He became the first- choice guitarist for legendary producer Bob Ezrin, and worked on Lou Reed's famous Berlin album and Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare where he wrote the iconic 'Only Women Bleed'.
Ezrin produced a solo album for Wagner, titled "Richard Wagner", but music stores assumed it was the late 19th century classical composer and placed it in the Classical bin.
